Dr. Kassir reveals the following youthful skin secrets to help guide you to the proper products:

Most people are not aware that a proper skin regimen consists of a combination of products- not just one product. At our office, these products are customized according to specific skin types in order to deliver  maximum results.

Protect with broad spectrum sunscreen- use broad spectrum, physical sunscreenwhich contains titanium dioxide or zinc oxide, K- Defense Emollient Sunscreen, SPF 30; or K-Defense Oil-Free Sunscreen, SPF 30, for oily skin types.

Transform with retinoids- retinoids are lipophilic molecules which means they are oil loving. This enables them to penetrate deeply into the skin through the cell walls, stimulating the creation of collagen, elastin, and increasing cell turnover. Dr. Kassir recommends K-Retinol 50, for starters.

Boost with Hydroxy Acids and Anti-Oxidants- hydroxy acids and antioxidants don’t do enough alone to transform the skin. However, when used in combination with retinoids, the benefits can be profound. Hydroxy acids help enhance the penetration of retinoids, and Vitamin C stabilizes and gives retinoids a boost. Dr. Kassir recommends “K-Renew C+E+F+G.”

Polish with Supplements- moisturizers, peptides, and barrier enhancing lipids work superficially on the skin’s surface, adding a finishing touch. Dr. Kassir recommends “K-Clear Oil Free Moisturizer,” which mattifies the skin, and is fragrance and preservative free.
