Our 52 year-old patient wasn’t showing significant signs of skin maturity, but when she looked in the mirror, her eyes couldn’t help but be drawn to the sagging skin beneath her chin. She started to become increasingly self-conscious about the way it looked and decided to consult Dr. Kassir, who recommended the Band Aid facelift. The Band Aid facelift (or mini facelift) is a less invasive procedure than a full facelift and is an ideal surgery for reversing the beginnings of visible aging. As skin matures, gravity can cause loose folds along the line and fat deposits that form jowls, creating an worn and aged appearance. Oftentimes, patients who have a Band Aid facelift will pair the procedure with laser resurfacing, like a fractional laser treatment. The laser gives the skin a resilient glow as it repairs sun damage, improves skin texture and pigmentation, and diminishes lines, wrinkles and acne scars. The combination of these treatments is one of the best ways to maximize their anti-aging experience.

"I can finally walk into a room without feeling self conscious about the hump on my nose! I'm so happy this was life changing!"
