About this Facelift, by Dr. Kassir in NJ
This patient initially came to our office for Botox injections. as she was unable to conceal her wrinkles and folds with makeup. As a flight attendant, she is required to keep her hair tied up, which leaves her face fully exposed.
Botox is a simple, effective, non-surgical treatment helped relax facial muscles and reduce and smooth away frown-lines and wrinkles. As she became familiar with Dr. Kassir’s procedures, she decided that she wanted a long-lasting solution for her facial sagging. She noticed that her midface and neck began to sag, and she had deep creases under her eyes. She also had loose skin under her chin and jaw area, and her jowls became prevalent due to loss of muscle tone and fat.
“As a flight attendant, I am exposed to hundreds of people on a daily basis, and passengers identify flight attendants by their appearance- they remember our facial features. I did not want to be remembered by my sagging jowls and deep creases throughout my face,” says our patient.
To help our patient achieve her goals, a Mini-Facelift was performed to rejuvenate her face. Facelift surgery, also known as rhytidectomy, is a plastic surgery procedure performed to improve the neck laxity, jowls, and the midface. As a person ages, the midface begins to go downhill, producing the smile lines” or “laugh lines. The lower face then begins to show jowling, near the chin and the neck muscles sag, producing banding and redundancy. Patients travel nationally and internationally to have Facelift surgery performed by triple board certified Dr. Kassir.
