ABOUT NON-SURGICAL REVISION RHINOPLASTY

What is Non-Surgical Rhinoplasty?

Non-surgical rhinoplasty, or a non-surgical nose job, is a non-invasive alternative to surgical rhinoplasty.  For people who decide they don’t want to go through surgical rhinoplasty (whether it’s because of price or downtime), and wish to improve the appearance of their  nose, temporary fillers are used to perform non-surgical rhinoplasty.  The Non-Surgical Nose Job or the “15 Minute Nose Jobs” is performed using dermal fillers such as Restylane®, Perlane®, Radiesse® or Juvederm. Temporary fillers are strategically placed to help camouflage bumps,  create a better bridge in a flat, narrow, or scooped nose, refine the tip, correct imperfections and provide symmetry- which can make the nose appear smaller and more attractive.

Does Non-Surgical Rhinoplasty Provide Permanent Results?

These fillers may be effective for about 1 year without any downtime.

Who is a Good Candidate for Revision Non-Surgical Rhinoplasty?

Patients who are not satisfied witht he appearance of their nose as a result of previous surgery, or surgeries may be good candidates for revision non-surgical rhinoplasty.  The goal of revision non-surgical rhinoplasty is to recreate a more aesthetically appealing nose.  Often, a previous rhinoplasty is too aggressive and leaves patients with a "scooped out" nose or a "saddle nose." In this case, with the use of dermal fillers in non-surgical revision rhinoplasty, a more defined bridge can be recreated.

When performing non-surgical revision rhinoplasy, Dr. Kassir strategically places temporary dermal fillers to help camouflage bumps,  create a better bridge in a flat, narrow, or scooped nose, refine the tip, correct imperfections and provide symmetry- which can make the nose appear smaller and more attractive.
