ABOUT ULTHERA

We are pleased to announce that our practice is among the first in the area to offer the Ultherapy® procedure, an entirely new and unique type of non-surgical treatment that uses ultrasound to lift and tone loose skin without any downtime.

How Ultherapy Works
Unlike other non-invasive procedures, Ultherapy specifically targets the deep foundation below the skin – typically addressed in cosmetic surgery – without cutting or disrupting the surface of the skin. It ultimately stimulates the body’s own natural collagen-building process to lift the skin over time.

What Can I Expect?
With just one 30- to 60-minute treatment, the lifting process is initiated, but the effect will build gradually over the course of two to three months, as tired collagen is replenished with new, stronger collagen. Further improvements can even appear up to six months following a procedure as this collagen-building process continues.

Is It Right for Me?
Ultherapy is a compelling option for people who have mild to moderate skin laxity as well as those who want to “stay ahead of the game” and those looking to prolong the effects of cosmetic surgery. Ultherapy is ideal for those looking for a natural yet noticeable lift!

Ulthera Questions & Answers

How Long Will Uthera Last?

Patients treated with Ultherapy® still have fresh young collagen after a year’s time following the procedure, but the skin will continue to age. Yearly touch-up treatments can help keep pace with the aging process.

Are there any Ulthera side effects?

There may be slight redness for a few hours following the Ulthera treatment, and it’s not uncommon to have slight swelling, tingling or tenderness to touch for a few weeks, but these are typically mild and they are temporary in nature. There can be other post-procedural effects after Ultherapy such as bruising and small areas of numbness but these are less common and again, temporary.
