How many years does a deep plane facelift take off?

A deep plane facelift is a surgical procedure designed to improve the appearance of the face by lifting and repositioning the deeper layers of the face, including the muscles and fat. It can be an effective treatment for addressing sagging skin, wrinkles, and loss of volume in the mid and lower face, but it is not designed to take a specific number of years off the appearance of the face.

The extent to which a deep plane facelift can improve the appearance of the face will depend on the individual patient and their specific concerns and goals. Some patients may experience a more dramatic improvement in their appearance, while others may see more subtle changes. In our experience, a correctly performed deep plane facelift can last 7-10 years, with some patients doing a “tuck” afterward.

It is important to have realistic expectations for the results of a deep plane facelift. While the procedure can help to improve the appearance of the face, it cannot stop the aging process or change your fundamental appearance.

To determine the potential benefits of a deep plane facelift for you, it is essential to consult with a qualified and experienced facial plastic surgeon. They can assess your individual needs and goals and recommend the best treatment approach for you.
